- 512K or greater RAM
- 14.5MB hard disk space (Acrobat Reader needs at least 100MB)
- Pentium III processor or equivalent
- Adobe Acrobat or Reader version 6 or later
Map-Based Selection Tool
Browsers
The following browsers are known to work with our website:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
- Mozilla Firefox 2
- Mozilla Firefox 3
- Apple's Safari 3.1. (Note: TerraGo's GeoPDF Toolbar is not available for OS X, so while you can navigate to and view the maps, you will not be able to utilize the additional GIS-like features.)
JavaScript
For the map tool to work correctly, JavaScript must be enabled in your browser. Note that this is not the same as Java -- despite the similar names, JavaScript and Java have almost nothing to do with each other in your browser! Here are a couple of references on JavaScript settings:

County-Township-Range-Section Select Boxes
If you use the drop-down selection boxes on our main page, JavaScript must be enabled in your browser (see note above) so that we can automatically display county-specific information such as special instructions, or help you deal with nonstandard-sized parcels.
If you don't wish to enable JavaScript or are having trouble with it, use our alternate selection system. This has been designed to work with any browser.
